Product Engineer Intern - Global Technology Engineering Center (GTEC) - Budapest

Flowserve (FLS) is offering an intern position to support engineering in one of the teams below.
The internship focuses on professional and personal growth through meaningful on-the-job experience, tailored to your needs.
The Global Technology Engineering Center (GTEC) consists of 3 teams:
• Seal, Seal System and Valves (SS & V)
o In the SS&V team Project- and Product Engineers are responsible for the technical scope of projects that are built around Seal Systems, creating general arrangements, selecting instrumentation tailored to customer specifications, as well as meeting quality and inspection requirements. They process orders for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
• Flowserve Pump Division (FPD)
o The FPD team is a diverse team consisting of Project- and Product Engineers. Their day-to-day tasks include supporting Business Unit (BU) orders, direct communication with customers and suppliers, designing and developing pumps sets, parts and equipment, as well as reviewing and developing the Flowserve Pump portfolio.
• Services and Solutions (S&S)
o The S&S team supports the aftermarket business, by providing detail engineering to FLS sites through part design and drawing creation, hydraulic modification, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and solving shopfloor problems.

You are our ideal colleague if you…
• Have ongoing studies at the mechanical engineering faculty or relevant engineering field,
• are in your last year of your bachelor's degree or studying your master’s degree
• are able to undertake at least 20 hours a week,
• have good English communication skills (at least B2 proficiency),
• have experience with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks (or similar) and drafting
